A touching story of an Italian book seller of Jewish ancestry who lives in his own little fairy tale. While locked up he tries to convince his son that the whole thing is just a game.

A surrealistic and humorous satire on the Madison Avenue image of the world through advertising. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2009.
