Winter Will Not Be

When a group of idealistic young men join the German Army during the Great War, they are assigned to the Western Front, where their patriotism is destroyed by the harsh realities of combat.

The film consists of three sequences shot by a fixed camera: the first shows the balcony of a hospital with patients (soundtrack from the film "Vivre sa vie" by Jean-Luc Godard), the second is a scraped wall and the third is a crossroad with pedestrians and cars (sound taken from the film "The Time-Machine " by George Pal).

The police are chasing a gang led by Al-Bahjouri, and during the attack of the police on the train, where an ambush was made for this leader, the police are surprised by the intervention and cooperation of the two prisoners, Shehata and Hathout.
