A series of ten shots, three minutes in length, of various locales in Munich.

After driving for about 5000km* we felt the need to slow down a bit and to continue our journey on foot. The energy of the landscape conveys the strength and power of Nature in a pristine environment. Two weeks walking in the woods, enjoying the rhythm and the breathtaking views of the North.

National Geographic filmmakers, Dereck and Beverly Joubert, explore how some animals are thrust together by the forces of nature-sometimes through a millennium of evolution or even last year’s drought. In the aftermath of strange elephant deaths, they piece together a visually stunning story that confirms their theory that lions were hunting elephants. Narrated by Jeremy Irons.

A total solar eclipse is a breathtaking event and this documentary programme conveys that awesome feeling by exploring how and why eclipses happen. A mixture of computer-generated views from outer space, footage of eclipses throughout the 20th century (some taken as early as 1927) and original footage taken of this year's total solar eclipse (shot in Cornwall) make this programme a celebration of eclipse mania.
