One winter, a ravenous ogre terrorizes the land of King Balthasar. Meanwhile, a blizzard is brewing in Léon’s heart. Braving the cold, this adopted bear cub runs away from home. Léon has many an adventure during his travels. He befriends a hedgehog and an elephant, confronts an ogre, and sets Princess Molly Gingerbread free. His courage and integrity eventually lead him back to his family. In the end, the cub earns everybody’s respect.

On this occasion when a girl arrives at his office with an aching molar, he administers even more than the usual quantity. Under the influence of the laughing gas, she leaves the office and trips blithely along through all kinds of dangerous traffic, makes love to a married man while his wife looks on and succeeds in getting herself into several difficulties. Very little information is available on The Bookworm Turns but, as Depp was particularly well-known for appearing in movies that required him to don female clothing, we might expect to see him in drag at some point in this one.
