A prospector in the year 2047 must rescue a girl enslaved by a mutant race of gold-injecting vampires.

Directed by Jim Abrahams, the film makes fun of a variety of other films as well, from Dances with Wolves to The Fabulous Baker Boys. It was so successful that they all returned in the sequel, Hot Shots! Part Deux.

But the two friends prove to be a bit more streetwise than CIA or BND ever expected.
