A fare to remember.

Thriller Mystery Science Fiction

Overview

When a charming fare named Penny climbs into his cab, Harris, a world-weary taxi driver, finds himself engaged in the only kind of courtship he can have with a passenger -- one that lasts as long as her trip. That is, right up until she disappears from the back seat without a trace. When confusion gives way to reality, he resets his meter and is instantaneously transported back to the moment when she climbed into his cab. He and Penny find themselves trapped in an endlessly looping nighttime cab ride, with only each other for company, and it changes his life forever.

Spoiler Warning: (though if you know anything about me I always just a little bit so be warned!) Watched this twice as I loved this film. The Fare filmed in 2019 was directed by DC Hamilton and distributed by Epic Pictures Group and Dread Presents Goes between being black n white and color, kind of noir plays like a Twilight Zone Episode. A different spin on what would happen if the soul of the ferry man suddenly woke up and realized that he was the fucking ferry man with no memory of how he got there and now that he’s aware how does he cope. The filmmakers challenge and from what I understand a dream of any filmmaker is to be able to make a film in one location and for the most part this film kind of sticks to one location until it comes to the flashbacks of the life he didn’t remember the acting was brilliant on both parts. I believe that Gino Anthony Pesi and Brinna Kelly played off each other very well I could easily believe that Gino as Harrison could have been a very likable taxi driver as you often want to think that you can converse With the driver of your Destination and the fact that his character eventually excepted what he was without spoiling all of the details I actually think this was a very unique film and perspective and I recommend it definitely different. Go ahead and check it out for your own self I was entertained by the performances And the otherworldliness... DC Hamilton outdid themselves for sure... this review should not turn you from watching the film in any fashion go watch it so you can come back and tell me it is not as I say... lol there is some ere of mystery before its conclusion so watch and wait for it...
