In this animated reverie, ambient sound and poetic narration evoke the experiences of a young boy in the forest at twilight. Accompanied by a friend, the boy walks past vigilant rocks and a sentinel tree, hears the grasses' silent plea ("don't tread on us, leave us be"), espies a spider in his web and two worms snug in their leafy bed. In the darkening sky, they watch clouds billow by tickling the snoring moon. Arriving home, the boy wonders where the path of the nearby river flows.

When an oppressive force threatens to destroy their world, two worms come together to keep their world safe.

The documentary follows an earthworm through its subterranean life cycle and, from here, keeps returning to researchers whose projects are dedicated to protecting the soil.

Grandma drops her spectacles. A mouse, curious, notices it enlarges, and she appears enormous to the cat and the dog, and they scare back. But then Granny takes back her spectacles.

There is a wind blowing. In a hut near the sea lives a woman. The scenes in the animation keep changing; her body becomes a landscape, her breasts become the arses of 2 horses, etc. The scenes are filled with longing and an idea of passion, like in a dream.

Central in the animation is a box with toy blocks. Joined, they can show 6 different images of fairy tales if you turn them with the right side up. Those images in the animations are alive, but there is also a little girl, the owner of the box, who turns them around in the middle of some of the fairy tales, but she also has toy puppets that can continue the cell animations as puppet animations, but whatever happens, the wolf is sure to get the blame.
