Pulp: The Story of Common People

Martin is a lonely television director who becomes obsessed with his neighbor Isabel when he finds an amateur porn video in which she participates. However Isabel turns out to be the wife of the owner of the TV network where he works.

When a short-tempered mobster and his gang of thugs try to shake down a neighborhood bar, they're soon confronted with the wrath of its owner - a mysterious southern mother with a dangerous past.

The chemistry is immediate and her concern for the disappearance of her family members pulls him into her case - and into bed.

Co-Starring Cody Dermon, Rhianna DeVries and Rodrigo Tactaquin this is a cynical, neo-noir about two gangsters and one night on the job.

The Green Hornet is a short film based upon characters from the popular radio and pulp series. The Green Hornet is actually Britt Reid, fearless newspaper publisher, who hides behind the Hornet's disguise to battle criminals that have managed to escape the long arm of law-aided. On his side we find of course his martial arts expert sidekick, Kato.

With Tschaikowsky's music on the sound track, this parody of long-hair, temperamental orchestra conductors and concert pianists is a long string of sight gags. The pianist has a new hair-do in every scene he is in, all designed to help him see the piano. One fat musician nonchalantly wanders in in the midst of the concert, takes off his hat, coat, muffler and gloves, unpacks his instrument, a triangle, hits one note, repacks, puts on his gloves, muffler, coat and hat, and goes home.

In Shinto religion, in order to make something sacred, man will tie a rope around it. This sacred quality of the tying can be applied also to Kinbaku, which is an erotic, spiritual, artistic connection between the people who are doing it

The documentary follows the campaign of 6 candidates to the municipal legislative council of the city of Rio de Janeiro (population of approximately 6 million) in Brazil, in the 90 days preceding election day. All of them dispute their first election, but only two of them will be successful.

A host of personalities reminisce about the life and work of songwriter, lawyer, and congressman Humberto Teixeira — aka "Baião Doctor" — the author of such classic Brazilian popular songs as "Asa Branca". A musical film about the baião, a movement in Brazilian music in the 1940s and 1950s that was later snowed under by samba and bossa nova.
