Deep Purple: Live at Montreux 1996

Matt, a young glaciologist, soars across the vast, silent, icebound immensities of the South Pole as he recalls his love affair with Lisa. They meet at a mobbed rock concert in a vast music hall - London's Brixton Academy. They are in bed at night's end. Together, over a period of several months, they pursue a mutual sexual passion whose inevitable stages unfold in counterpoint to nine live-concert songs.

A detailed chronicle of the famous 1969 tour of the United States by the British rock band The Rolling Stones, which culminated with the disastrous and tragic concert held on December 6 at the Altamont Speedway Free Festival, an event of historical significance, as it marked the end of an era: the generation of peace and love suddenly became the generation of disillusionment.

Commemorating the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's seminal 1991 release, the Nevermind Super Deluxe contains 5 CDs showcasing the newly remastered album from the original analog tapes along with 4 complete concerts on the Nevermind Tour from Amsterdam, Melbourne, Tokyo, and Del Mar, California. Additionally, a Blu-ray of the complete Live in Amsterdam concert video (newly remastered in HD) is included along with a 40-page hardcover book with unreleased photos.

Filmed during the massively successful 2014 Soundtrack of Summer Tour, Live at The Orleans Arena Las Vegas features Styx performing a career-spanning set list before a highly energized crowd. Styx performs such classics as “Too Much Time On My Hands”, “Renegade” and “Blue Collar Man”, where they are joined by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Don Felder.

It was no different in 2013 during the Wacken festival, where the world's rock and metal scene flourished. Together with the American rocker, Rammstein, Deep Purple, Motörhead or Anthrax performed at the festival. Fired from his band and hard up for cash, guitarist and vocalist Dewey Finn finagles his way into a job as a fifth-grade substitute teacher at a private school, where he secretly begins teaching his students the finer points of rock 'n' roll. The school's hard-nosed principal is rightly suspicious of Finn's activities. But Finn's roommate remains in the dark about what he's doing.

Deep Purple is one of the most influential and important guitar bands in history, one of the godfathers of the heavy metal genre, with over 100 million album sales worldwide to their name. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Deep Purple's groundbreaking double live album Made in Japan, this documentary explores these recordings and Deep Purple Mark 2, the line-up between 1969 and 1973.

In the summer of 2011, The Protomen released their first self-titled album, now known as Act I, on vinyl. To celebrate that release, they played a show in their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. That night, in a rare occurrence, they played Act I in its entirety, as well as the majority of their subsequent album, Act II: The Father of Death. This is that show.
