On the brink of her 30th birthday, Fanny feels the door to marital happiness closing on her. The skeleton is her neighbour Orfeo, a Black, gay, self-declared psychic, who convinces her that she is about to meet "him". But is it really Lothar, the new yuppie apartment manager ...?

A young British girl born and reared in India loses her neglectful parents in an earthquake. She is returned to England to live at her uncle's castle. Her uncle is very distant due to the loss of his wife ten years before. Neglected once again, she begins exploring the estate and discovers a garden that has been locked and forgotten. Little Billy’s life is tormented by his scheming aunt who drags him daily to the cemetery and forces him to clean his uncle’s headstone. There Billy meets Myrtle, a little girl ghost stuck between the worlds of the living and the dead. Freeing Myrtle means losing the only friend Billy has ever had.

The film applies an unconventional narrative. It presents a subjective world through 47 scenes. The small events, interlaced by associations, express the irrational coherence of our surroundings. The surreal situations are based on the interactions of humans and nature.
