KISS - A band is almost always defined by its frontman and normally there is only one of them – ego, talent & chemistry demand it. But KISS is different. They have two frontmen: Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley who somehow shared the limelight, and gave us a spectacle like no other - fire bombs, smoking guitars and spitting blood were all part of the act.

1/4 - In 1925, the young M’hamed El Anka replaced his master Nador at short notice. He realizes that he is far from mastering all the instruments of his art and begins a self-taught training program in Oud, the Arabic language, and religious singing in the hadra of Sidi Abderrahmane. 2/4 - In 1932, the young El Anka released 10 45 rpm records in Paris, including the first song from his composition "L'Exil". He is gradually “lightening” the Andalusian heritage. He made the pilgrimage to Mecca and wrote the famous song "El Mendouza". 3/4 - The 40s and 50s will confirm the maturity of the master, who consolidates the constituent elements of what is today called Chaâbi music. In the midst of the national liberation struggle, El Hadj M'hamed El Anka triumphs with the song "Youm El Djemâa". 4/4 - In 1962, El Anka sang of independence: "El hamdou lilah, mabqach listaâmar fi bledna". Activist, poet and musicologist Bachir Hadj Ali explains the artist’s exceptional style.

Scandal 10th Anniversary Festival: 2006-2016 is the seventh concert album by the Japanese pop-rock Scandal, which was released on November 3, 2016 Epic Records Japan. The recordings were made on August 21, 2016, at the outdoor festival celebrating the band's tenth anniversary, on Osaka's Sakai-Senboku harbor in front of an audience of 12,000. The release reached number four on Japan's Oricon weekly DVD total and ninth on weekly Blu-ray total sales.

Fired from his band and hard up for cash, guitarist and vocalist Dewey Finn finagles his way into a job as a fifth-grade substitute teacher at a private school, where he secretly begins teaching his students the finer points of rock 'n' roll. Filmmaker Fran Strine explores the riveting true story of the man who wrote and recorded the global smash hit song “Ghostbusters,” which became a universally recognized pop culture classic.

"Getting The Knack" chronicles the controversial career of power pop stars, The Knack. Viewers will witness a compelling tale of instant stardom and spectacular failure, a story marked by heroin addiction, alcohol abuse, vicious inner-band feuding and massive critical backlash. "Getting The Knack" explores the group's career via candid interviews with the original band, producers Mike Chapman and Jack Douglas, Sharona Alperin, (the inspiration behind their biggest hit), Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols, Rick Springfield, Elliot Easton of The Cars, Devo's Bob Mothersbaugh, comedian Weird Al Yankovic and many more. Narrated by Cherie Currie of The Runaways, "Getting the Knack" is augmented by scores of rare photos and previously unseen archival footage providing a no-holds barred look at the rise and fall and ultimate resurrection of the group.

In 2013, the Springfield, Missouri band Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin traveled to Russia as Cultural Ambassadors, having been formally invited by the Boris Yeltsin Foundation (who had accidentally discovered the band while Googling the former Russian president’s name). Filmmaker Brook Linder followed and chronicled the band’s strange connection with Russian history, leading to a reflection of the band’s own past.

This 2005 documentary film chronicles the life of Daniel Johnston, a manic-depressive genius singer/songwriter/artist, from childhood up to the present, with an emphasis on his mental illness and how it manifested itself in demonic self-obsession.
