The encounter forces him into the company of some ambiguous American businessmen who claim to be on the islands for a conference on the global financial crisis. When one of them falls in the sea, their financial PR seems to know more than she's letting on. Worricker soon learns the extent of their shady activities and he must act quickly to survive when links to British prime minister Alec Beasley come to light.

A year has gone by since Jim Button and his best friend, the engine driver Luke, returned from their dangerous adventure in Dragon City. Life on Morrowland goes its leisurely way again. Suddenly, dark clouds are gathering over the tranquil island of Morrowland: the notorious pirate gang "The Wild 13" has learned that the dragon Mrs Grindtooth has been conquered by Jim and Luke and now swears revenge. To protect Morrowland from another threat, the two of them set off with their steam engines Emma and Molly on a dangerous journey where they meet old friends like princess Li Si, Mr. Tur Tur and Nepomuk and make new friends with Sursulapichi, a real mermaid. On their adventure, Jim's most fervent wish might also come true: to find out the truth about his mysterious origins.

Detective Hank Hyer investigates a blackmail case involving a candidate for mayor.

Shekhar, a rich man's son marries Laxmi, to prevent an embarrassing situation for her, when the bridegroom, his friend, is arrested for being associated with a gang. Suspicion against his wife's fidelity makes Shekhar drive her out of the house. A series of incidents, however, bring the husband and wife together.

A woman who focused on being a mother feels that she no longer has any purpose now that her son has made his own life, until one lonely night after a storm, she finds a nest on the ground of her garden with a small egg that gives signs of life, and when she rescues him she puts aside her monotony to take care of him as if she were his mother.
