Imany began her professional life in New York as a model. The events of September 11, 2001, changed everything and forced the Frenchwoman of Comorian origin to string together a series of odd jobs. Tired of that life, a few years later Imany threw herself wholeheartedly into music. Deeply influenced by Bob Dylan and Tracy Chapman, the singer speaks to us of love and ideals in her deep, slightly husky voice. Johnny Cash Live In Las Vegas 1979 is a completely unseen concert from the House Of Cash personal vault. Captured on the in-house video system at the casino, the set features Johnny, June and his regular backing band doing many of his most beloved songs as well as his more recent hits like (Ghost) Riders In The Sky and One Piece At A Time. The show was a special treat for the annual convention of the sales people at Century21 real estate and Johnny and June crack several jokes throughout about buying and selling property.

Jeff Beck has made many strange albums, but none were ever quite as strange as this. With the Big Town Playboys offering support, Beck rips through 18 Gene Vincent numbers (not "Be-Bop-a-Lula," however), paying tribute to Vincent's guitarist, Cliff Gallup. Beck sounds terrific as he reconstructs Gallup's parts, but he doesn't add anything to the originals. Still, Crazy Legs is a fun listen and offers many insights into Beck's playing, if not Gallup's.

On June 7th, 1986, Prince celebrated his 28th birthday by performing for a packed crowd at Detroit’s Cobo Arena. The show was filmed and edited for later broadcast in Europe and Japan as promotion for his then-forthcoming 1986 Parade tour, which hit eight countries in less than a month. The Parade tour never officially hit the United States, with Prince deciding to test the show out on audiences in a handful of cities across the country before taking it abroad. Fortunately, videotapes of the Detroit show have been circulating amongst hardcore Prince collectors for years and have found their way onto the internet so you can witness what was arguably Prince’s funkiest tour to date.
