And it is a man of 60 or even 70 years old that today's audience has known. The first Charles Trenet, the one who transported France when he was 25 or 30 years old, remains largely unknown. Yet it was this kid of genius who, at the age of 25, invented French chanson. But the archives that are scattered throughout this portrait also show that he invented a certain idea of joy. For joy in Trenet was a sport, a daily gymnastics.

Gangsters smuggle diamonds through customs by embedding them in The Spiders' tambourine, then go on a cross-country chase of the rock-and-roll band in order to get them back. Another gang is searching for something The Spiders have, too, and now the two gangs are willing to kill to get it, with the boys caught in the middle!

Kalyar's childhood in Burma revived the dreams of an ancient harpist and an ancient lover in Bagan, hoping to become a Burmese harpist like her parents. Sharing her dreams is Hiroshi, a Shamisen musician from Japan, who met Kalyar and Bagan on his fateful visit to Bagan. They soon discover that their dreams come true, but there is an unseen danger in the past and present.

Louis Armstrong live in Stockholm 1962 features a TV appearance by Armstrong from 1962 -- working on trumpet and vocals with a small group that includes Trummy Young on trombone -- and which features Monica Zetterlund guesting on vocals on one number, and Jewel Brown singing on another. The image is a bit grainy at times -- really best on the closeups -- and the performance features 12 numbers that include "Indiana", "A Kiss To Build A Dream On", "Blueberry Hill", "My Man", "After You've Gone", and "Mack The Knife"
