Now aged 17, Antoine Doinel works in a factory which makes records. At a music concert, he meets a girl his own age, Colette, and falls in love with her. When the exhibition was banned in 1978, Heinze turned to other projects, but Dammbeck continued working on the film by himself. Metamorphoses I—the first experimental film ever to be shown publicly in East Germany—marks the filmic beginning of Dammbeck’s long-term art project the Herakles-Konzept (Hercules Concept).

Two adventurous 11 year old best friends play around, explore forests and rivers, run, swim and play pranks on a local girl.

12 year old James is now caught between wanting to continue being the adventurous boy he was a year ago, however someone now is more of a mystery for him. Now he wants to spend less time with his best friend and starts spying on the girl that he once called names. He makes excuses not to go with his friend and instead takes peeps at the girl wondering why she does things. James is starting to get a crush on the girl.

At the age of 13, James now disagrees with his best friend and defends the girl against him. He fell in love with her and wants to spend all his time with her. James takes her to the river where he and his friend used to hang out. James is now a teenager and the girl is his whole life.

A solitary Frenchman seeks inspiration in a ruined duchy, meeting eccentric figures with their visions of art, madness, and myth. During 15 minutes he wanders across the broken edges of reality and sanity, he questions what form inspiration can still take among fragments of ruins and environment, as the viewer steps into his eyes and ears, discovering beauty within decay.
