New recording of the most succesful play of Prague's National Theater starring Miroslav Donutil. Goldoni's comedy "Servant of Two Masters" is typical example of classical "commedie dell'arte". Beatrice arrives in Venice dressed as her brother who was killed by her lover Florindo. Florindo also escapes from Tourine. Beatrice hires Truffaldino, a servant who also lets himself be hired by another master to get twice as much money and food. The second master is indeed Florindo, who coincidentally accomodates in the same hostel as Beatrice...

A recorded play performed live and also screened at the 2024 New York City Fine Arts Film Festival. Creative energies will unite as a diverse group of performance artists comes together in a powerful collective act, exploring our cognitive dissonance towards the toxic environment and destructive behaviors we engage in as a society—behaviors that, in the end, are slowly killing us and our planet. Director Abigail Graham’s contemporary take on The Merchant of Venice shows Shakespeare’s disturbing tale in a new light. Shylock (Adrian Schiller) and Jessica (Eleanor Wyld) reclaim their stories in Shakespeare's Globe's ‘heart-wrenching’ (The Guardian) 2021 production, played by candlelight and filmed live in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.

Grace has agreed to marry Sir Harcourt in return for his financial support of her family. At a house party in her father's place, Harcourt's son Charles also falls in love with Grace. When his father appears on the scene, he has to convince him that there is a case of mistaken identity and he is somebody else. Then Lady Gay Spanker, a married woman also visiting at the house, is persuaded by Charles to seduce his father and thus divert his attention from Grace. Much confusion and scheming ensues. One of the first five episodes also released on terrestrial TV on a 2009 BBC TV series titled "National Theatre Live".

A wealthy Turk intends to establish an opera house in Smyrna with the help of opera lover Count Čipera. Opera singers are applying for the engagement, and the female singers are also fighting fiercely for the position of prima donna. The Turk has a weakness for women, but will he be the one to make the final decision? And how will this bold project turn out? A recording of a theater performance by Prague's Činoherní klub.

A play about mutual attraction and insurmountable resistance between the sexes, about infidelity, emotional exaltation and hostile aridity, false self-images and ambitions, and wounded vanity. Weller Martin and Fonsia Dorsey, two elderly residents at a nursing home for senior citizens, strike up an acquaintance. Neither seems to have any other friends, and they start to enjoy each other's company. Weller offers to teach Fonsia how to play gin rummy, and they begin playing a series of games that Fonsia always wins. Weller's inability to win a single hand becomes increasingly frustrating to him, while Fonsia becomes increasingly confident. While playing their games of gin, they engage in lengthy conversations about their families and their lives in the outside world. Gradually, each conversation becomes a battle, much like the ongoing gin games, as each player tries to expose the other's weaknesses, to belittle the other's life, and to humiliate the other thoroughly.

Three married couples undergoing therapy are summoned by their female psychologist to a meeting. The psychologist won’t be attending the reunion herself, but she will give to them instructions about what they must do. Thus, to the sound of a horn (literally), the six protagonists will gradually air their dirty laundry concerning their relationships and bring up issues like taking care of the kids, the different home tasks, money, jealousy and sex, until it all leads to a most unexpected and equally shocking end.

The film is a stage play hybrid showcasing dark and absurd sketches based on contemporary Hungarian news of the 2000's with campy, senseless musical interludes in-between. Highly experimental in nature that - like Marmite - will split its' crowd into ones that'll love it and others that'll loathe it. There's no middle grounds here. The topics included are: The Hungarian Olympians' doping scandal, political terrorism, the national elections... and more.

Kelly surprises Nancy late one night when he returns unexpectedly to the cold dark stage of an empty theater where they are currently in rehearsals for a stage play, a murder mystery. Kelly and Nancy have a lurid and salacious history as actors and lovers. He's come back to pick up a script. She's there to meet her husband the playwright. They're surprised to discover new props litter the stage; a real dagger, a loaded revolver and a blood-stained playing card, a Joker. As certain events begin to unfold, the reality of this “play-within-a-play” leads to a deadly finale where they find themselves caught up in a web of lies and deceit. And someone may pay the ultimate price in a deadly finale! Joker's Wild pays homage to film-noir, an 'Agatha Christie like' one act, a murder mystery that also has some fun referencing the post war classics. And was a festival favorite seen at various film festivals, broadcast on HBO and others, and won various awards such as a CINE Golden Eagle.

Bedřich Smetana's famous opera based on Karel Sabina's libretto, as performed by a rural ensemble, occasionally interrupted by Antonín Dvořák's Jakobín and, above all, situations from the lives of the ensemble members. Recording of the Studio Ypsilon theater production filmed on November 30 and December 7, 2014.
