NXT TakeOver 31 was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE for its NXT brand on October 4, 2020, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, headlined by Finn Bálor (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the NXT Championship.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the first WWE In Your House PPV event, the 29th NXT TakeOver event will take place at Full Sail University in Winter Park Florida.

The 30th TakeOver event under the NXT banner will feature Keith Lee defending his NXT Championship against Karrion Kross, and a five-man ladder match to determine a new North American Champion.

Behind the stage action. Three ballet girls. A janitor using rough manners to approach the girls, without success. He gets advice from a colleague to treat the girls with more respect.

Meanwhile, an eccentric millionaire, who has been diagnosed with an incurable dementia, becomes so despondent, he decides to commit suicide. He disguises himself as a vagrant, and wanders into the slums. As he tries to find the courage to kill himself, he is encountered by the young girl. She rationalizes him out of the cowardly act. Her genuine sweetness and strong faith, effects him to such an extent, he begins to believe a recovery is possible. Now the girl's sweetheart has been falsely accused of murder and only the millionaire's licentious nephew can give him an alibi.
