With no idea of when borders will open up or where skateboarding was headed, I spent the last four years traveling and filming the people around me, digging deeper and deeper into the Japanese skate scene. For more than 20 years, skaters from Asunción have been demanding from the authorities, without being heard, a public space where they can practice the sport. “Honorable Skate” is a cry of struggle. We start the journey from his home—an Ambulance parked outside a community centre—and venture across town to the local coffee shop. We gain powerful insights from Andy as he weaves his way down the street, takes shortcuts through alleyways, runs through a forested ravine and skates uphill. "It's the dead space I'm excited about." We observe how his attitude toward each spot—and every random encounter—brings them to life.

Oscar Niemeyer remains one of the most important architects in modern history. The Brazilian visionary, who died in 2012 aged 104, elevated modern architecture beyond the realms of function and created buildings that are works of art and express the highest attributes of humanity. His work with reinforced concrete in particular created new architectural forms and possibilities, eschewing the tyranny of angles to create waves and swooping arches of such soaring beauty that they represent nothing less than physical poetry.
