A Gift from Bob (or A Christmas Gift from Bob) is a festive drama and a sequel to beloved the beloved 2016 movie, A Street Cat Named Bob, which showed how animals could change the course of our lives and leave their pawprints on our heart. The life of James Bowen (Luke Treadaway), a former drug addict, has changed forever since he met Bob, his loyal ginger cat friend. The two developed a unique bond that eventually made them famous, allowing James to build a new, happier life without busking on the streets and making ends meet. The new movie A Christmas Gift from Bob begins right there, in James’ new life, as he attends fancy parties and book signings, and agents ask him to write another book. Set during the Christmas holidays, the movie warmly reminds us about the importance of having a purpose and community. Before meeting Bob, James did not like Christmas, but the ginger fluffy cat changed everything. He literally gave his owner a new life, creating a real Christmas miracle. A Christmas Gift from Bob will tell the viewers about the last Christmas that Bob and his owner James spent begging on the street, and how the cat helped him get through difficult times and get into the real spirit of the holiday. It was Bob who James was drawing strength and inspiration from during the cold December on the street to get through hard times. The story of James gives people second chances. It celebrates the spirit of community and assures us that good deeds will be rewarded in the end, making good people thrive. It also shows how a stray cat helped a man to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Even though the story touches on such topics as poverty and homelessness, it is told in such a touching way that the whole family can enjoy it.

Julia Scarlett Elizabeth Louis-Dreyfus (born January 13, 1961) is an American actress, comedian, and producer. She is known for her work on the comedy television series Saturday Night Live (1982–1985), as well as her roles on Seinfeld (1989–1998), The New Adventures of Old Christine (2006–2010), and Veep (2012–2019). Christopher Collet

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Christopher Collet (born March 13, 1968) is an American actor who is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jake Livingston in the 1984 movie Firstborn, and for his lead role in the 1986 film The Manhattan Project. Collet was born in New York City. He has one younger sister, Jennifer (not an actress). During his teen years, Collet decided to break into show business, and acquired an agent. His first film role was as "Paul" in the 1983 independent suspense/horror film/slasher film Sleepaway Camp. Collet remained in touch with his co-star from the film, Jonathan Tiersten, and they auditioned for shows together, encountering a number of rejections. Eventually, Collet landed the role of Neil Oxley in a 1984 CBS after school special called Welcome Home Jellybean. Following this early success, Collet landed other numerous roles in television and film, such as Jake Livingston in Firstborn, which starred Teri Garr and Peter Weller; Richard Jahnke Jr. in the 1985 TV film Right to Kill?; Paul Stephens in the 1986 film The Manhattan Project, starring John Lithgow; and Albert Kaussner in a mini-series by Stephen King called The Langoliers in 1995. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. Damon Jones is a writer, producer, actor, and musician from Dallas, Texas. He was a member of the influential Los Angeles comedy troupe The Groundlings, where he wrote, performed and directed shows starting in 2000. He has since gone on to create several TV shows, including Flipped (Quibi/Roku, 2021), Benched (USA, 2014) and Halfway Home (Comedy Central, 2007). Jones began his acting career guest-starring on shows such as Seinfeld, Malcolm in the Middle, Monk, Reno 911 and MADtv. Also an accomplished voice-over actor, he has voiced characters on series such as The Looney Tunes Show, Star Versus the Forces of Evil and The Mike Tyson Mysteries. He voices for Marvin the Martian and Foghorn Leghorn. As a composer and lyricist he wrote many songs for The Looney Tunes Show (WB/Cartoon Network) with Ben Falcone, which were performed by Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen and Billy Griffin of the Miracles, among others.

John Swindells, a Liverpool native and former student of Quarry Bank Grammar School and Liverpool College of Art, established his international career in the arts. Settled in Victoria, B.C., since 1973, he's known for leading roles across UK stages, Toronto, Canadian theatres, and even in New York and US regional theatres. His work spans television, including 65 episodes of “Z.Cars” as Sgt Ted Bowman (BBC, 1970-1973) and a role as Inspector Ted Bowman in CBC’s “Side Street” (1977-1980). He portrayed J.E.H. McDonald in CBC’s “The Passionate Canadians,” which focused on the "Group of Seven" artists. He made a guest appearance in “B.L. Stryker” (US). Swindells notably played First Technician in Stanley Kubrick's landmark film “2001: A Space Odyssey”.
