This immersive video reveals the technology and life aboard this sub in the days leading up to her capture. Among the many highlights, you’ll see crewmen bunks and the galley, wedged in among the mechanical workings of the sub.

Through intertwined narratives of people, planes and places Steyerl reveals cycles of capitalism incorporating and adapting to the changing status of the commodity, but also points at a horizon beyond this endless repetition.
