Reverend Robert Gibbs is a young, hip pastor who temporarily takes over the helm of a Fundamentalist Baptist church while his predecessor Reverend Matthews recovers from a stroke. While trying to impress Reverend Matthews, Gibbs has to win the approval of his congregation, the Deacon board, and most importantly Reverend Matthews? daughter Divine, who has recently lost her faith in God.

A chance encounter in a bus station with a traveler gives Becky what she needs to restore her faith and reunite with her family.

Canboro realizes this may be a conspiracy going as far as devil worship, but gets in a car crash. Waking in a strange hospital, years have passed and people all over the world are wearing the mark of 666 on their right hands, and those who don't are killed. Franco Macalusso, the believer in global peace, now controls the world, and is trying to bring the world together as it was at the Tower of Babel.

Clancy Miller is an abused girl who runs away to elude social workers seeking to remove her from her home. Out on the streets, she meets Nick, an ill-tempered, homeless war vet. A corrupt mayor, desperate for re-election, offers Nick a reward to keep the girl out of site; his secret plan - to 'rescue' the girl in grand fashion in order to gain favor with the voters. However, a scuffle with a loan shark sends Nick and Clancy on the run to the nearby countryside. There, an unlikely relationship develops, as the angelic girl copes with the hard exterior of her newfound guardian. Meanwhile, the mayor's ambitions heighten, as the prospects materialize for a statewide 'manhunt' and a military-style rescue operation that will play out as the TV news cameras roll.
