Sudan, East Africa, 1980. A team of Israeli Mossad agents plans to rescue and transfer thousands of Ethiopian Jews to Israel. To do so, and to avoid raising suspicions from the inquisitive and ruthless authorities, they establish as a cover a fake diving resort by the Red Sea.

String of Attachment follows Holden, a teen boy, as he receives a text from a past relationship. Memories of her linger as he goes about his daily life. He can't escape the flashbacks until one day, a new person appears in his life, and Holden must decide if he can let go of the past.
