Our second annual halloween short film made safely during quarantine! Inspired by War of the Worlds and B Creature features from the late 1950s. We worked without a crew so everyone involved did several jobs. Brandon directed, operated the camera, edited, sound designed and did voice over work. Ama directed, wrote, designed the lighting, costuming, operated the fog machine, fire fx, blood, and the tentacles! Which we also made as well! Jared and Mark did voice over characters as well as performing on camera. Rozi did her own stunts, helped with make up and costuming and Amber helped with set design as well as being on camera! It was a little project made for fun in a time when we need it the most! We hope you enjoy and happy halloween!

Heaven-Bound Travelers (circa 1935) was discovered among the rolls of film in the Gist collection at the Library of Congress by S. Torriano Berry during the recent restoration of Hell-Bound Train. Eloyce Gist takes a central role onscreen as a wife and mother who is wrongfully accused of adultery by her husband and is left to fend for herself and their daughter in the world. As she struggles to sustain them, the husband becomes riddled with guilt and struggles with his decision, and the social realism of the drama shifts to an allegorical struggle between the devil, appearing to tempt humanity to sin, and the angels. The film does not exist in complete form but the fragments show a project of ambitious scope. Presented with a score composed and performed by Dr. Samuel Waymon.

Dave is not only thrilled to see the astronauts return home, but also eager to begin his assignment as a darkroom photographer for NASA. He's been selected to develop photos from the moon landing for LIFE Magazine. Dave is very passionate about his career, but he always makes time for his family. Charlie and his father have a long running tradition of Dave bringing home a photo from work for his son. Charlie's tendency to be over observant he notices a flaw in one of the photos he is given. This causes Dave to investigate the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Texas and see why this photo is like this.
