Reviews
This anthology movie isn't as bad as the second movie but not close to consider good like the first one.
Here's the stories:
Ruby Gates: It was interesting even with the crazy cgi fire and bodies making it look a bit cheap.
The Bunker: This was something you would see from Twilight Zone just wanting on Jordan Peele to pop up.
Operatic: This actually had a decent story to it and wasn't over the top on the blood and gore. Pretty supernatural thriller like.
Dope Kicks: Golden Rule = Golden Shoes, got it? I must say the story of karma is pretty good. Loving the look of the angels and demons.
The Mouths of Babes and Demons - Wraparound: Father (Tony Todd) and daughter getting away from the "bad things" which the ending was feeling like some Pet Sematary when the big reveal happened.
Overall this was an okay watch. Definitely better than Tales from the Hood 2 and a bit darker. It seems the directors are having a hard time trying to catch that lighting in a bottle that made the first Tales from the Hood so great.
Bottom line, don't make this a top priority to watch.
It'll end up free to watch eventually.
