This special included a compilation episode focusing on the story of how Usagi became Sailor Moon, an original episode featuring the first appearances of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in this season, and an episode adapted from the manga side-story "Chibiusa's Picture Diary Chapter 1 - Beware of the Transfer Student").

An intriguing peddler comes to Hope Valley selling the townspeople his wares and teaching them valuable lessons about joy and giving.
