The protagonist, Clarisse, well-played by Vicki Krieps, opens the mystery before dawn and hits the road to destination unknown, posing this huge question to us: Why? Thereafter, the narrative is told in splinters - tiny snippets strung together with harsh cuts that perfectly reflect the chaos and randomness of the way reality unfolds in our brains. And in spite of the clues along the way, the mystery remains obfuscated until the denouement. At the end, the clues and everything fall into place. I'll only tell you that this film is filled with heart.
