Far from home in the lush bamboo forests of China, ten-year-old Ryan Tyler, with the help of a young girl, goes on a wonderful journey to rescue a baby panda taken by poachers.

"Barely Coping" follows the story of Tristan who, as boy, lost his parents in a tragic accident. To hide from reality he pretends to be a panda and lives the rest of his life as one.
