Youko, Joe's love interest and the owner of the gym where Rikiishi trained at recruits a world ranked boxer from Venezuela, Carlos Rivera, to get Joe back on his feet and pursue his boxing career to the regional and world ranks.

Due to Domeki's position, a series of events have occurred that requires Watanuki's services. The episode outlines the process by which Watanuki fulfills the request while presenting changes in many of the characters in the series. The ending theme is "Kaza Nagi" (風なぎ?) by Shikao Suga.

Revival of Evangelion is a re-edit of the Neon Genesis Evangelion films , released in 1998.
