A video-registration of the revue/cabaret show 'Showponies 2' by the Alex Klaasen Revue. In this sequel to the first Showponies-show, Alex Klaassen explores to what extent he cares about what (the still quite heteronormative) society thinks. Klaassen considers coming out for a second time, because he feels like he has ended up in a second closet after his first coming out.

Follows Diogenes as he goes about his day as a police officer. He's prone to do things the right way, surrounded by a pretty much corrupt & citizen distant police department, & always resolves his duties with a personal method.

If you don't get what you think you deserve because they don't see you, the idiots. If you can count on one hand the number of times you've felt free and carefree in the past year. If you want to smash things but don't dare.

Wim Helsen Heden Soup! HOMELESS, KINGS, SAINTS AND COLD WATER FISHING: They all eat soup. Also mistresses love soup. They eat them with spoons, some dip bread in it or slurp on the edge of their soup bowl. One can of doing anything. Tomatoes, leeks, pumpkins, chicken. But loving thoughts, secret messages and mushrooms are allowed. And say nothing of balls. In mysterious faraway places there that make soup from nettles. Dogs bark for soup. One gets it warm from the inside (in his body).

Charlie is a clumsy waiter in a cheap cabaret, suffering the strict orders from his boss. He meets a pretty girl in the park and tries to impress her by pretending to be an ambassador. Unfortunately she has a jealous fiancé.

A Parisian nightclub owner known for her performances of the can-can attracts the ire of a self-righteous judge. He hatches a plot to photograph her in the act but ends up falling for her — much to the chagrin of her lawyer boyfriend.

The first solo show of Dutch comedian Hans Teeuwen, the comedian is super-nervous and tells sad stories about past unfortunate love, loneliness and prejudice, accompanied solely by him playing the piano.He also tells tales about a fox, a scarecow, the young girl and the Seven Turkish an the Bible.

In his third theatre program the Dutch comedian Hans Teeuwen plays with empty wine bottles, little girls and himself. Poetic, absurd, false and genuine.

A gang of robbers sowing unrest in the city are attempting dislodge the police for a crime kingpin; the band are composed of three women and a business magnate.

The tour for "Zorg dat je erbij komt" was completely sold out. For three shows at the Meervaart, more than 150,000 people wanted tickets in just one weekend!
