On April 11, 1992, The Grand Opening of Euro Disney aired on CBS, offering viewers a spectacular, entertainment-filled evening as well as a special “sneak preview” of the Euro Disney Theme Park and Resort. The special was simulcast live across Europe in five languages and broadcast later the same day in the United States. Each country’s customized broadcast was hosted by popular local celebrities, introducing entertainers from their own countries.

For Disneyland Paris, Christmas is the highlight, a celebration that begins almost a year in advance! In 2017, the park celebrated its 25th anniversary. This milestone was marked by a year filled with events designed to dazzle visitors, including several new additions: parades, shows, and entertainment. But how do you reconcile organizing these festivities with welcoming nearly 40,000 visitors every day? For a year, we went behind the scenes at Europe's number one theme park. We were given exclusive access to share the daily lives of 55,000 employees, stunt performers, dancers, but also gardeners, artisans, chefs, salespeople, and even Princes and Princesses! They all shared their secrets with us. What methods are behind the Disneyland magic? Who is behind the grand parade, the dishes at Remy's bistro, or the bushes in Alice's Garden? What does CastMemberland, the secret city of employees, look like?

Les enfants de Val d'Europe​ studies and depicts the youth of Val d'Europe, a new town located 35 kilometers from Paris . Built around Disneyland amusement park, the distinctive landscape of Val d'Europe area inhabit the dreams, hopes and disillusionment of each of its inhabitants. How does one live day-to-day in a place that appears to offer an unreal relationship to the world? How has Disney’s presence in the area affected the childhood and adolescence of these young people? Les enfants de Val d'Europe juxtaposes the landscapes of the Val d’Europe with the words of its inhabitants. Interviews with young adults who grew up around Val d'Europe and the Disneyland Paris amusement park serve as an augmented soundtrack for a voyage through often deserted landscapes.

As Disneyland Paris celebrates its 30th anniversary, we delve into the heart of France's greatest dream factory. The famous Mickey Mouse, who inspired the anniversary logo, sports a new costume. Sleeping Beauty Castle has been completely renovated. In addition to the attractions and character meet-and-greets, the park offers a daytime show and another at nightfall. Enchanting gardens have also been specially designed. Behind the scenes, inventiveness has been doubled to celebrate this 30th anniversary.

For the first time, you will dive behind the scenes of the biggest shows: Disney D-Light, with its drones, voted best live show in 2022; the Parade with the trade secrets of its floats and finally Disney Dreams!, the magical sound and light show projected on The Castle of Sleeping Beauty. While closing the park for the night, Mickey Mouse encounters legendary magician Harry Blackstone Jr. behind the counter of the magic shop. Magic and illusions fill the park. Timo Novotny labels his new project an experimental music documentary film, in a remix of the celebrated film Megacities (1997), a visually refined essay on the hidden faces of several world "megacities" by leading Austrian documentarist Michael Glawogger. Novotny complements 30 % of material taken straight from the film (and re-edited) with 70 % as yet unseen footage in which he blends original shots unused by Glawogger with his own sequences (shot by Megacities cameraman Wolfgang Thaler) from Tokyo. Alongside the Japanese metropolis, Life in Loops takes us right into the atmosphere of Mexico City, New York, Moscow and Bombay. This electrifying combination of fascinating film images and an equally compelling soundtrack from Sofa Surfers sets us off on a stunning audiovisual adventure across the continents. She died in 1999 at 105 years of age.
