When Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott died on 4 January 1986, he was 36 years old. His early death from a drug-related illness placed him in the same rock 'n' roll league as his idols Elvis and Jimi Hendrix. This documentary looks behind the image to reveal the strains of life in the fast lane. It also focuses on Lynott as family man, writer, and black Irishman with a Brazilian father. Includes contributions from Bono, Van Morrison, Mark Knopfler, Scott Gorham, and Lynott's wife Caroline Crowther, who speaks publicly for the first time. (Radio Times)

Ayumi Hamasaki Asia Tour 2008 A ~10th Anniversary~ was a concert tour of Asia held by Ayumi Hamasaki to celebrate her tenth anniversary as a performer under Avex Trax. The tour had stops across Japan as well as in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei. This was also the first time the whole performance was filmed.

Jerry almost never made it to Austin City Limits. He cancelled one appearance, and only weeks before this recording on October 17, 1983, his wife died in a freak swimming pool accident at their home. But he did make it, and what we have here is one of the most amazing performances ever to go down on the ACL stage. Throughout the day he was a perfect gentleman, showing up on time and acting very graciously to one and all, but once he hit the stage, all hell broke loose. The songs speak for themselves; they re ALL here. For many years later, Jerry Lee would carry a tape of this show to play for friends (and himself, many times). When producers tried to book him again for a return performance, the response was, Jerry Lee doesn't think he could possibly do a better show. This DVD captures all the hits and more, and includes songs that were never aired on the original TV broadcast.

Japanese rock band Ziggy comes to London and gets attacked upon arrival at the hotel after a recording session. The musicians barely escape the attack; however, soon they learn that their producer has been murdered, and they are the suspects! Chased by police and some mysterious organization, they find shelter at a local rockers' place and even give a performance there; but it is not too long before their pursuers appear again.

Live is a live video of Meat Loaf, recorded at the Wembley Arena in London, on April 29, 1982. According to a misprint on some versions, the songs "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" and "Read 'Em and Weep" were also performed, but neither song was ever released. October 5th, at 10.30 pm , after pope John-Paul II`s blessing of Lyon from the top of Fourvieres hill, Rendez-Vous Lyon got under way, a concert performed for more than 800,000 people on the banks of the river Saone. Fourvieres hill was ablaze for ninety minutes, fired on by cannons of light, fireworks and images synchronised to music being performed live on the central stage by Jean-Michel Jarre, 60 musicians and 120 choristers. A baroque feast, blending classical and avant-garde, workmanship and high-tech, past and future, Rendez-Vous Lyon will long be remembered as an exceptional event.

Pete Way of UFO, "Fast" Eddie Clarke and Lemmy join Twisted Sister for their closing, then standard, cover of the Stones' "It's Only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It)." This is especially notable as the first time Clarke appeared on stage with Lemmy since leaving Motörhead just three months earlier.

Tommy Seebach Mortensen; or just Tommy Seebach to the whole nation; were born in Copenhagen in 1949 and passed away far too early in 2003. "Tommy" received four stars out of six by Politiken,[6] Berlingske Tidende[7] and Ekstra Bladet;[8] B.T. awarded it six stars out of six.[9] Dagbladet Information described it as "... a story of an artist who became a victim of the musical genre which he himself had helped innovate, and who, instead of gaining the broad recognition he had longed for his entire life, ended up with a status somewhere in between national heritage and kitsch clown..."[10] Politiken called the film "worthy, worth seeing and moving", Ekstra Bladet "a moving portrait of a man caught between the music, his family and the bottle".

When you've played with legends such as Thin Lizzy and Pink Floyd, few people could question your place in music history. And when the person in question is Snowy White, performances like this 'Live from London' concert lays any further debate to rest. Recorded in 1984 at the Camden Palace, acclaimed guitarist Snowy White sings and strums his way trough all his greatest hits including Bird of Paradise, Lucky Star and Broken Promises.

Achim Bornhak's movie focuses on the restless life of Uschi Obermaier, the icon of the 1968 movement in Germany and groupie. At the age of 16, Uschi is bored by her job in a photo lab, but soon becomes the "it girl" of Munich's club scene. When she gets to know Rainer Langhans, they move to Berlin and live in "Kommune 1", the first politically-motivated commune in Germany. While the other occupants claim she isn't political enough, Uschi just wants to have fun, works as fashion model and leads international music stars in temptation.
