The "Ending on a High Note" tour was a live celebration of a-ha's 25 year career, which included stops in 63 cities in 21 countries, and culminated in 4 concerts in their home town of Oslo last December. INXS fans can rejoice over the release of this buoyant concert film, shot during an ecstatic performance before 72,000 hopping fans in London's Wembley Stadium on 13 July, 1991. The Australian band's vocalist, the late Michael Hutchence, is at his feral-romantic best, stalking and swiveling his way through an energized set of welterweight pop. The show starts with a big, boomy "Guns In The Sky", takes a turn toward unexpected soulfulness with "New Sensation" and spreads the wealth with a sharp set of ballads and rockers. Hutchence has fun with a naughty "Know The Difference", plays around with a Jagger-esque take on confessional soul in "The Loved One" and milks "Never Tear Us Apart" for all it's worth. The band sounds more muscular than they did in the studio, hard-charging and rough on "Suicide Blonde", drunk on a jazzy guitar hook in "Need You Tonight" and completely danceable on "Bitter Tears".

"Una China Poblana" follows a Chinese-Filipino woman, Malaga, living in 1930s Mexico. Due to her race, many aspects of her life encounters hostility. When Malaga receives a death threat right before her big show in Mexico City, she doesn't choose to back down and faces whatever threat awaits her in the audience.

True to the spirit of the show, this special is also punctuated by improvisations around Alain Lanty's piano and exchanges with Nagui for sincere and intimate moments.

The film tells the story of a famous artist's love for a woman. Famous singer Ekrem gives a concert for the benefit of Darülaceze. After the concert, he falls in love with nurse Fatoş, whom he meets. After a while, they decide to get married. Ekrem cancels his six-month contract because he is getting married. His manager blames Fatoş for this situation. He talks to Fatoş and asks her to leave Ekrem. Fatoş leaves Ekrem on their wedding day so as not to hinder his fame. She sets off for Izmir. However, she misses her flight. When the plane she missed crashes, everyone assumes Fatoş is dead. Ekrem, believing he has lost Fatoş, will struggle to come to terms with it.

This is Mylène's 2006 concert tour in support of her sixth studio album, Avant que l'ombre.... It was the fourth tour of the singer.
