The Laughter Congress

It's the Christmas season and a lonely woman goes on a blind date unbeknownst to her that her date is an active and notorious serial killer, The Brentwood Strangler. Is this love at first sight? Or the worst (and last) date of her life?

Emme, a 12-years-old girl, is surviving alone in a post-apocalyptic world, where plants and animals have gone through a monstruous mutation. She's starting to mutate herself and is desperate for a cure.

The idea for this film comes from the encounter with two African boys who live in Rome, and is based on their music. Tunisian Afif and Senegalese Aliou tell their different stories, talk about friendship, immigration, freedom and, above all, about the fundamental value of making music together.

"Chasing Stars" tells the magic journey of a young girl, who’s looking for her home and own place in the world. The journey takes place in the Arctic and the main character is helped by a very special friend, a Beluga whale.

„Shift Simmers Slips“ is massively inspired by and freely adapted from Luigi Serafini’s „Codex Seraphinianus“, an illustrated encyclopedia created between 1976 and 1978. The film represents a small fragmentary collage of some of his created worlds, lifeforms and activities.
