Wintertime in Lyon. About a dozen people, men and women, are having a snowball fight in the middle of a tree-lined street. The cyclist coming along the road becomes the target of opportunity. He falls off his bicycle. He's not hurt, but he rides back the way he came, as the fight continues.

(Atiya Abu Hadid) is a thug and a thief who leads a gang to commit his crimes. He loves one of the neighborhood girls (Naana’a), who is engaged to her cousin (Al-Atra), a soldier in the army, who goes to participate in the Palestine war, so the atmosphere is clear for Atiya. He devises a plan to make the master (Hassan), Naana’a’s brother, fall in love with Zenouba, a girl whom Atiya exploits for his own despicable purposes.

Wahid Safwat is a playwright known for his many female relationships. Wahid meets the rising singer Laila and flirts with her, but she rejects him, so he decides to ensnare her and hides his true identity from her, that he is a famous novelist. The events unfold in a framework of comedic situations.

Jalal is a busy doctor with his patients all the time. His wife, Wafiya, decides to travel to Alexandria and he will join them in a few days. However, on his way back after dropping his wife off, he meets a beautiful girl with whom he spends most of his days.

A tramp heads home drunk on a Saturday night, finding it hard to make it to his room. When he finally does, he cannot make it to his bed.

A wealthy man with a circle of friends falls seriously ill. The son quickly arrives with his fiancée, who discovers that he left her in a hotel and went to see his father alone. His father scolds him when he learns that he completed his engagement without seeing his fiancée and insists on seeing her. The son returns to the hotel and does not find his fiancée, so he agrees with a girl to play the role of his fiancée.

Best – His Mother’s Son (BBC Two) was a gloomy drama about Ann Best, mother of George, who was strictly teetotal until her mid-40s, when she had her first sip of sherry to celebrate her son’s footballing success. Ten years later, she was dead from alcoholism-related heart disease. The recreation of late-Sixties Belfast was accurate and, thank goodness, intelligently subdued: no comedy Ulster accents and no point-scoring subplot about the Troubles.

A struggling singer and his band befriend an heiress who, against the wishes of her father, is searching for the lover who she has been forbidden to see and with whom she is hoping to elope.

Every day, at the same time, Antonio and Santi have a strange conversation. Three women are witness to it.

A serving girl receives a telegram that she has come into an inheritance. The family she works for suddenly starts to treat her well, and several young men come to court her. Then she receives another telegram telling her the inheritances is only $25. All her new 'friends' desert her, except her poor boyfriend.

Although Mabel’s parents disapprove of Roscoe and Mabel’s relationship, the two still secretly court. When a rivaling suitor named Reddy appears, the men fight for Mabel’s hand. Although successful, Roscoe witnesses Reddy fall into a well and instantly calls for help. As the police fish Reddy out of the well, the young lovers see their chance at freedom and run off to elope.

Betty Boop appears on stage with Freddie in an old-fashioned mortgage melodrama.

On a fishing trip, Adel takes his three friends, and while fishing they find a heavy bag. The three rush to pick it up, and find a shipment of drugs inside. Three gang members watch the situation from a distance, and when the friends reach the bag, the gang members intervene to seize the bag. At this point, police officer Lotfy appears and tries to arrest them.

When a law-abiding demolition expert is duped by a gang of criminals into helping them he is caught and jailed. When he is released he goes straight and then notices a leading citizen in his town is cheating his neighbours.
