River: Morning

Xanadu is a 4-channel video installation by Robert Boyd that represents a history of apocalyptic thought as a series of MTV-style music videos.

This film visualizes humanity’s quest to relentlessly pursue goals. In the human fight for progress, the march forward cannot be stopped, even when individual people become weary and die. This animated short is based on a poem by the Chilean filmmaker and poet Juan Forch. Chilean painter Hernando León created the design.

Based on an incident in the life of Beat icon Neal Cassady and his wife, the painter Carolyn, the film tells the story of a railway brakeman whose wife invites a respected bishop over for dinner. However, the brakeman's Bohemian friends crash the party, with comic results. Pull My Daisy is a film that typifies the Beat Generation. Directed by Robert Frank and Alfred Leslie, Daisy was adapted by Jack Kerouac from the third act of his play, Beat Generation; Kerouac also provided improvised narration.

One summer evening in a small town in France, two teenage boys, Clarinet and Piano, say goodbye. For twelve years, they rejoin each other at irregular intervals in the same town, discussing their ambitions as they drift apart. Michaël Dacheux's 'Here and There' is a delicate exploration of the eager aspirations of two young men, wise beyond their years yet still innocent in their experience.

The three combat their mutual loss and grow closer in the days leading up to Christmas. Christopher finds solace in the poetic demeanor of Rahul who is Esther's neighbor's son while Christine battles her demons on the shores of Goa and Esther finds peace knowing that she is not alone in her old age. During this week, they encounter emotions that feel distinct and almost indescribable, echoing the concept of "Iktsuarpok." This narrative explores unspoken feelings, new friendships, a burdensome past, the passage of time, shattered hopes, and the reimagining of dreams

The killer appears, or doesn’t — but you’ll feel him beneath the cuts, mouthing things you’ll wish you didn’t understand. There are bodies, sometimes clothed in flesh, sometimes not. There is scripture, mangled and reversed — not to mock it, but to unlock it. The voice speaks, but only when you stop listening. This is the place where lost footage remembers you.
