"Nihil" tells the story of Adam, a young man who seems to be ready and determined to start his professional life in the city. New to the city, to its busy and quick rhythm, Adam tries to keep pace and enthusiasm but, among thousands and thousands of other strangers, he is subconsciously afraid to disappear: “When nobody’s watching, do I exist?”. Adam suddenly wakes up in the middle of a lavender field, cold and lost. Asking for help, Adam seems to be ignored by all the odd people he encounters until he realises that he is not being ignored but unseen.

When Ann, husband George, and son Georgie arrive at their holiday home they are visited by a pair of polite and seemingly pleasant young men.
