Set in London in the early 1970's, supposedly for teen thrills, Johnny organises a black magic ceremony in a desolate churchyard. The culmination of the ritual, however, is the rejuvenation of Dracula from shrivelled remains. Johnny, Dracula' s disciple, lures victims to the deserted graveyard for his master's pleasure and one of the victims delivered is Jessica Van Helsing. Descended from the Van Helsing line of vampire hunters her grandfather, equipped with all the devices to snare and destroy the Count, confronts his arch enemy in the age-old battle between good and evil.

A naive young college student, who is majoring in chemistry, is persuaded by her roommates and a would-be drug dealer to make LSD for them, and she winds up getting caught up in the "acid" lifestyle.

Michael (Jeff Bridges) drops out of college with the intention of finding himself. When his parents (Carl Betz and Vera Miles) balk, he talks them into joining him in traveling the country and educating themselves about the state of things. They, along with Grandma (Ruth McDevitt) trick out an old Greyhound bus and hit the road. The picaresque plotline brings the family into contact with a variety of colorful characters. The producers of In Search of America never declared outright that the made-for-TV film was intended as a series pilot, but it ends on an ambiguous note with plenty of loose plot ends. Two attractive girls pick up a young female hitch-hiker, new to the city. They give her some advice and directions to her destination, the beach house of an old friend. After purchasing more attractive clothing she is picked up and assaulted. Narrowly escaping, she finds herself on a beach crowded with weird hippies, bums and police. Finally she arrives at her boyfriend's house. Unknown to her, he has become homosexual and a strange situation develops climaxing in a lesbian ambush.

Unhappily married with an affluent banker, former hippie Silvana awaits her chance to get rid of her husband without giving up his wealth.

This surrealistic experimental film finds the son of a young nobleman staying with hash-smoking hippies in a seamy section of Munich. He falls for a hippie girl who is involved in shaking down the young man's parents for money. She falls in love with the young man but the group continues to extract money from the parents in return for their wayward son. When he discovers the shakedown, his rage leads to tragedy for the star-crossed lovers.

The series swansong, Beat '71, sees Kaji framed and sent to prison by her boyfriend's father and with the help of some hippies she strives to be re-united.

Bad Vibes

A couple of wandering hippies meet a man by the name of Antonio who takes them to the home where he lives with his sister and brother-in-law. There they meet several strange characters: a gypsy woman, a prostitute and a disturbing drunk. The host tells them that he is a producer of wines and loves to entertain strange people. In fact he is a madman who has created a mechanism that can suck blood from human bodies.

After a year in Europe, the young Samantha, daughter of a prominent American politician returns home. She is convinced that she was sent home because she was romantically linked to Nat Brook, a black revolutionary. After one of his numerous protests against violence, Nat feels he is being followed by two men sent by her father . But in the duel that follows the young revolutionary knocks out the two stalkers . Then he breaks it off with Samantha because, beyond the his feelings for her, she is starting to feel like a burden to his protesting activities.
