From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Ric Young is a British character actor. He was born in Kuala Lumpur in 1944 as Wing-Wah Yung. He trained as an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then moved to Los Angeles to study method acting under Shelley Winters and Lee Strasberg. He is best known for his role as Dr. Zhang Lee in the TV series Alias (2001–04) and as the henchman Kao Kan in the Steven Spielberg film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Yvonne Yung is a famous female artist from Hong Kong. She was born in Hong Kong and came to Beijing alone at the age of 13. David Powell

Biography

From Wikipedia David Powell (December 17, 1883 in Glasgow, Scotland – April 16, 1925 in New York City, New York) was a Scottish-born stage and later film actor of the silent era. In his twenties Powell appeared in stage companies of Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree, Ellen Terry and Johnston Forbes-Robertson. In 1907 he appeared with Terry on Broadway in the first American presentation of Shaw's Captain Brassbound's Conversion. In 1912 Powell started his film career in one to three reel shorts. At the beginning of the 1920s he starred in several Paramount-produced English films. Extant films that feature Powell are The Dawn of A Tomorrow (1916), Less Than Dust (1916), Idols of Clay (1920), The Virtuous Liar (1924), The Green Goddess (1923 version), and The Average Woman (1924). Powell died of pneumonia in April 1925 at the age of 42. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Biography

Max Hechtman is an American filmmaker with experience producing narrative and documentary films. He grew up in East Meadow, New York and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Film and Media in 2019. He is motivated to use the art of film to bring attention to issues that challenge us, intellectually and emotionally, and open conversations that are difficult, but can lead to change and positive outcomes. Max's films have been selected for screening at film festivals, nationally, including the short documentary "Stories of Strength and Hope: Preventing Youth Suicide," which won Best Documentary at the 2019 Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) and "Abigail," which won the Audience Award at the 2020 edition of the festival. He is currently in the early stages of writing his first original narrative feature film, tentatively titled "The Lens Within Me." In addition to filmmaking, Max has been working as a professional video editor for over the past ten years. He hopes to continue his work in production and post-production and pursue film projects, including short and feature-length narratives and documentaries that get people to think, question and open conversations about subjects that are difficult, but can lead to change and positive outcomes. Max is also an avid enthusiast of musical theater and a personal goal of his is to adapt Broadway shows for film.

Yapi Panda Abdiel Tambayong (born 12 July 1945), best known by his pen-name Remy Sylado, is an Indonesian author, actor, and musician. Owing to his wide interests, in a 1999 article The Jakarta Post termed him "a walking encyclopedia of arts and humanities. Born Yapi Panda Abdiel Tambayong, Sylado is known by a variety of pseudonyms. His most common one, Remy Sylado, is taken from the opening notes of the Beatles song "And I Love Her", which are rendered as "Re Mi Si La Do" in solfège, or in numbers as 23761; that number, according to Sylado, also represents the date of his first kiss: 23 July 1961. Sylado has also published work under the pennames Dova Zila, Alif Danya Munsyi, and Juliana C. Panda. Sylado was born in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on 12 July 1945. His father, Johannes Tambayong, was an evangelist, though he also composed music. He moved to Semarang, Central Java, at a young age, studying in elementary school there. Yumika Hayashi (林由美香 Hayashi Yumika, June 27, 1970 – June 28, 2005) was a Japanese AV idol and pink film actress. She earned the title of "Japan's Original Adult Video Queen" during a 16-year career in which she starred in nearly 200 AVs and appeared in over 180 films. Hayashi was also a prominent pink film actress; she was the subject of a 1997 documentary and the recipient of the Best Actress award at the Pink Grand Prix ceremony in 2004 as well as receiving the Special Career Award the following year. Her death on June 28, 2005, one day after her 35th birthday, ended one of the longest careers in the AV field and made front-page news in Tokyo. Following her death, Hayashi was awarded a second Special Career Award at the 2006 Pink Grand Prix ceremony and became the subject of several theatrical retrospectives and a 382-page biography.
