When two friends collect money for the so-called "suffering in America" in the streets of Accra, is it for fun, political provocation, or a prophecy? Two Swiss filmmakers will answer these questions with the help of seven musicians from Ghana-M3NSA, Wanlov The Kubolor, Adomaa, Worlasi, Akan, Mutombo Da Poet, and Poetra Asantewa-who have written new songs and produced video clips especially for the documentary film Contradict.

This audio-visual encounter contains a full MESHUGGAH live show, recorded on May 03, 2013 at their co-headline show alongside DEVIN TOWNSEND at Brixton Academy, London. The thirteen tracks on »The Ophidian Trek« represent a great retrospective of MESHUGGAH’s fulminant carrier.Kicking off the show with ‘Swarm’, just one of many from their most recent album »Koloss« (2012), going back to »ObZen« (2008) with songs like ‘Lethargica’ and ‘Bleed’ and all the way to the very early days of »Chaosphere« (1998) with the track ‘New Millenium Cynadie Christ’. »The Ophidian Trek« was released on September 26 (UK: 29.09., US: 30.09.) via Nuclear Blast. Cao Fei recorded her experiences within the online social platform Second Life. The result is a wistful, surreal vision of an alternative reality sprung from the pop culture fantasies and hyper-consumerism of contemporary urban China, while also trying to transcend its real-life limitations. It can be seen as an answer to the challenge posed by River Elegy: how to envision a new Chinese destiny founded on principles of individuality, creativity, discovery, and freedom. The film also reflects the contemporary condition of the virtual supplanting our experience of the real.

Argentina's Public Television pays tribute to the outstanding singer-songwriter and composer Gustavo Cerati, with a tribute concert in which great artists such as Charly García, Fito Páez and Ricardo Mollo participated. His solo career, started at the beginning of the '90s placed him among one of the most prestigious rock musicians in the country.

Bullet in a Bible documents one of the two biggest shows that Green Day have performed in their career. They played in front of a crowd of over 130,000 people at the Milton Keynes National Bowl in United Kingdom on June 18–19, 2005. The band was supported by Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, and Hard-Fi during their American Idiot world tour. Fourteen of the twenty songs performed at these shows were included on the disc; missing out "Jaded", "Knowledge", "She", "Maria", "Homecoming" and "We Are The Champions". Bullet in a Bible was released as a double-LP set on November 10, 2009, as part of the band's 2009 vinyl re-release campaign.

As a memorial to George Harrison on the first anniversary of his passing, The Concert for George was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 29 November 2002 . Organized by Harrison's widow, Olivia, and son, Dhani, and arranged under the musical direction of Eric Clapton and Jeff Lynne. A benefit for Harrison's Material World Charitable Foundation, the all-star concert took place on the day of the first anniversary of his death. Proceeds from the film also went to the Material World Charitable Foundation. The film was shot using discreet cameras from over twelve locations.

Duran Duran's Oakland, California concerts that were filmed for the Arena (An Absurd Notion) movie were also edited to form the one-hour As The Lights Go Down concert video. As The Lights Go Down is essentially the Arena video without the theatrical sequences, although the live footage for many songs was edited differently. This version was first aired on the Cinemax cable television channel, and later on MTV and other music channels.
