Kathy and Veronica are two thirteen year old best friends who go to a school for sports people. Kathy wants desperately to be popular, so she attempts to do sports like her peers, even though her passion is singing – which eventually leads her down a path of fraud, isolation, and performance enhancing drugs that Veronica must save her from.
