The Investigation: A Silent Film

In the near future, an isolated man is tortured by his beloved memories.

As a young couple stops and rests in a small village inn, the man is abducted by Death and is sequestered behind a huge doorless, windowless wall. The woman finds a mystic entrance and is met by Death, who tells her three separate stories set in exotic locales, all involving circumstances similar to hers.

A young woman, Margaret Dauncey, is caught between the forces of a charlatan magician, Oliver Haddo, whom she is unable to resist, and the love of a handsome surgeon, Arthur Burdon, who has saved her from being a helpless cripple by performing a delicate operation on her spine.

Thomas, in his forties, holds an important post in a slaughterhouse. He is engaged to Marie-Rose, the daughter of the director, whom he hopes to follow later. In a routine examination in the hospital, however, he finds out that he has cancer and his days are counted. The upheaval that he suffers as a result, however, does not take long, his decision is certain: he will use the short time to clean up some bad guys. What else can he do now?

An unhappily married woman is caught up in scandal and murder when her affection toward a young man is misinterpreted.

Arvid falls in love with cabaret singer Lussie and, much to his mother's dismay, marries this adventurous woman. Soon after the wedding, Lussie begins an affair with Russian lieutenant Arnold, which ultimately leads to tragic events.

A short silent film influenced by the classical German Expressionist cinema of the 1920s. Two musicians struggle with passion and sanity, delving further into desperation, paranoia and death as they search for the souls of their creativity.

In 1946, in Soror city, three different stories intersect amid macabre events. While detectives Thomas and Carlos work in the unsolved cases of the mysterious body found in a tree and Serena Caires disappearance, those three stories get together suggesting the motivations of those respective crimes.

This leaves her with the choice between a glamorous life in Paris, and the true love she left behind.

Charlie, a wandering tramp, becomes a circus handyman - soon the star of the show - and falls in love with the circus owner's stepdaughter.

Paris is prey to an invisible terror against which the police can do nothing: a sinister organization that sows chaos and death. The intrepid journalist Philippe Guérande and his partner embark on a long crusade to put an end to the crimes of the Great Vampire and Irma Vep, his dangerous accomplice. A two-reel adaptation of Dante Alighieri's Inferno from the Divine Comedy by Helios Film. It is less well-known than the five-reel feature produced the same year by Milano Films, but it was released earlier in 1911.

Raymond Lembecke is a con just out of prison after serving time for selling drugs for his mob boss Tony Vago. (Lembecke was innocent and took the rap for Vago.) Lembecke thinks Vago owes him big time so, when his former boss gets him a measly job in a warehouse, he decides on revenge and plans to steal a million dollars worth of drugs from him.

In the 21st Century, Tony Ricks was a criminal who was executed for his crimes. In the distant year 2020, he is revived in a freak accident, and must infiltrate a futuristic prison and retrieve a powerful bioweapon in exchange for his freedom... and his life.

When housewife Trina wins the lottery, her comfortable life with her dentist husband John slowly deteriorates, in part by her own increasing paranoia and partly by the machinations of villainous acquaintance Marcus.

A sheep farmer brings his new wife to his father's ranch and the old man takes an instant dislike to her.
