Part true-story, part-parody of comedian Ryûsuke Matsumoto's life where he encounters college girls, office ladies, and waitresses.

Kato is a small time TV producer. He has a wife Masako, and a young son Taro. Kato also has a friend Yamazaki who he knew since college. Yamazaki has a girl friend Riko who lives with her younger sister Yuko who's an actress. Yamazaki is a lyric writer/womanizer and he starts to have an affair with Masako, but he's still going out with Riko.

Shirasaki is a physical education teacher who is also popular with female students. However, Shirasaki also had worries that he could not tell anyone about. It was his fiancé Kuniko's cleanliness. Still, Shirasaki tries not to disappoint her expectations for him. Even when Yuki, a female student who has a crush on Shirasaki, suddenly approaches Shirasaki in an attempt to attract his attention, he never crosses the line. However, one night, as he walks in the same direction as a woman who got off the bus, he is mistaken for another man and Shirasaki's life begins to take a turn for the worse.

The leader, Verrocchio, is confident in the gay theory, but refutes it himself. Young Machiavelli is repulsed by his ideas. Melzi, a passionate believer in science, is worried about the relationship between the two. There was also Sarai, who advocated the Basho gay theory, and Borgia, who tried to verify it from Freud's theory...

Oshichi (Setsuko Ogawa), the daughter of a green grocer, is only seventeen years old but is known as one of the most beautiful girls in Edo. Oshichi, and her parents are given shelter at a temple where she meets Kichisaburo (Ryuji Mori), a young priest. It is love at first sight for both of them. The storm finally abates. Oshichi's parents decide to return to their home on the following day. That night, Oshichi gladly gives herself to Kichisaburo but they are found by her mother who warns them never to divulge their secret. Learning that her plan to move up the date of her marriage to the rich pawnbroker's son, Oshichi feels that she can never be united with Kichisaburo unless she takes things into her own hands.
