Four great ambassadors of music will guide the audience throughout the evening: Roch Voisine, Cœur de Pirate, Gims, and Mentissa. They are joined by a large number of artists, including Pierre de Maere, Ycare, Claudio Capéo, Axelle Red, Diane Dufresne, Cephaz, Khaled, Marie-José Lord, Sarahmée, Josianne, Radio Radio, Teety, Bilal Hassani, Emilie-Claire Barlow, and Olivier Dion. From the Agora in Quebec City's Old Port, in front of 8,000 people, this small world celebrates Francophonie in unison.

Cardinal Mazarin, chief minister to the king, commissioned Cavalli to create a Parisian spectacle to celebrate the wedding of the ‘Sun King’ Louis XIV and the Infanta of Spain. Ercole amante (‘Hercules in Love’) was the flattering subject chosen for this regal extravaganza combining larger-than-life characters with mythology, and genuine human emotions with natural and cosmic phenomena. The result is a sumptuous Baroque spectacle, conceived on a vast scale in this lavish production by directors Valerie Lesort and Christian Hecq.

In the Year of Hip Hop takes a retrospective look at the Slovenian hip hop/rap music scene. Boris Petkovič explores in great detail the evolution of a music style which, from the very start, has intimately reflected the social situation of its artists. Hip hop has always absorbed the "vibes" of the place where it is taking root, and Slovenia is no exception. According to Petkovič, in today's Slovenia, rap is the one and only form of music that discusses the state of our society and of human relationships without any inhibitions. If rap is not your cup of tea, this film can make you change your mind.
