The Rift between the present world and the another world caused by the instability of energy is the only passage to the present world for the monsters in another world. In order to block the invasion of monsters, in the present world, a group of people with special power bravely stand in the Rift to defend the world.

Beyond Westworld was a short-lived 1980 television series that carried on the stories of the two feature films, Westworld and Futureworld. When Yu Narukami moves to the rural country town of Inaba to live with his uncle while his parents are away on business, he's expecting a lot more peace and quiet than he's been used to in the big city.
