An antique shop is at the core of a mystery as its owner who hails from a family that has long been dabbling in the trade becomes embroiled with old secrets from jianghu. An unexpected visitor pays a visit to Xu Yuan and takes him into a dream where a conspiracy is brewing. He finds that a treasured artefact that can only be heard in legends may have personal connections to him and that a scheme from decades ago has everything to do with his fate. Even at the cost of his life, Xu Yuan uses his skills to pit wits and will against the powers from a long time ago.

Drama is based on series of mystery novels by Sakaki Tsukasa - "Hikikomori Tantei". Torii is a hikikomori who can make deductions even when he's given very small amount of information. His friend Sakaki works in insurance company and he's the only person who can help Torii to break out of his hikikomori style. They begin to solve mystery cases together.

Isao Komori is a college dropout who spends his days cooped up in his apartment playing video games. The Avengers is a British television series created in the 1960s. It initially focused on Dr. David Keel and his assistant John Steed. Dark Season is a British science-fiction television serial for adolescents, screened on BBC1 in late 1991. It was the first television drama to be written by Russell T Davies, and is also noteworthy for co-starring a young Kate Winslet in her first major television role.
