Storybook Squares is a short-lived Saturday morning version of Hollywood Squares for children. The primary difference, apart from having children as contestants, was that it featured celebrities in costume as well-known fictional characters and some as historical figures. As with the adult version, Peter Marshall was host and Kenny Williams was announcer; Williams read the characters' names off a scroll as "The Guardian of the Gate", a role similar to his "Town Crier" on Video Village. The series originally ran on NBC from January 4 to April 19, 1969, with repeats airing until August 30.

The show features male amateur contestants matching themselves against professional athletes in a series of athletic feats related to the expertise sport of the Pro they are facing. Le Juste Prix is a French adaptation of the American game show The Price Is Right that airs on TF1. It first premiered in 1988 and ran until the original version was canceled in 2001. In 2002 a brief sequel, Le Juste Euro, ran on France 2 and was hosted by Patrice Laffont, it only ran for two episodes. On July 27, 2009 a new version of Le Juste Prix premiered on TF1. Six plucky contestants compete across six rounds testing their general knowledge, quick thinking and speedy reactions whilst our ruthless spotlight patrols the studio. The contestants’ motivation in each round is simple: stay out of the light and you’ll be alright! In each nerve-shredding round, contestants aim to pass the dreaded light from themselves onto a rival of their choice by correctly answering a question but only viewers at home can see the ticking clock, and whoever gets caught in the light when the time runs out at the end of the round is struck by lightning and eliminated from the game. Each week of five shows starts with six contestants who, whenever they are knocked out, return to play again on the next episode. The contestant who manages to make the endgame in a show plays for the chance to win up to £3,000, but regardless of their success or failure, they leave to be replaced by a new player in the following episode.

Among those who substituted for Rayburn during the run were Jack Barry, announcer Roger Tuttle, Dayton Allen, Keefe Brasselle, and Fred Robbins.

Boys and Girls was a British television gameshow broadcast in 2003 by Channel 4. The series was produced by Chris Evans through his company UMTV, and was presented by Vernon Kay. Evans only occasionally appeared on screen, usually as the driver of the golf buggy used to ferry the winning contestants off-set at the end of the show.
