Tiny World is the first documentary program made specifically for Apple TV+, and it turned out really great.
Tiny World tells about the smallest inhabitants of different biomes of the Earth. The show's main characters are an elephant shrew, a chipmunk, a sugar marsupial flying squirrel, a European hamster, a hummingbird, and other animals and insects that do not often get into the camera lens.
In Tiny World, there are only six episodes dedicated to the African savannah, jungle, Caribbean island, Australian outback, European forest, and the most common garden plot somewhere in the UK. Almost ten years, filmmakers spent collecting the necessary materials and representatives of about 200 different species. For example, they tried to catch one of the rare geckos on the show for three years using sophisticated remote-controlled equipment.
Tiny World was produced by the British company Plimsoll Productions, and the series was created by Tom Hugh-Jones, who had previously worked for the BBC - Natural History Unit for 22 years.
The narrator's choice for Tiny World is also enjoyable — Paul Rudd, Ant-Man of the Marvel Universe, is no coincidence.
Tiny World is fantastic series: bright colors, incredible details.
Recommendation: watch this show on the largest screen available to you and in the highest resolution.
