In a fateful childhood encounter, Mira Kinohata met a stargazing dreamer named Ao Manaka. Unfortunately, she finds out that the club has been merged with the Geology Club to form a single Earth Sciences Club. She joins this new club and finds a pleasant surprise—she reunites with Ao after years of separation. Alongside their new clubmates, Mira and Ao begin their journey together to fulfill their promise. Head of the Class is an American sitcom that ran from 1986 to 1991 on the ABC television network. After the series ended, Connolly appeared in a short-lived spin-off titled Billy. The series was created and executive produced by Rich Eustis and Michael Elias. Rich Eustis had previously worked as a New York City substitute teacher while hoping to become an actor.

The series, consisting of 19 episodes of 180 seconds or under was one of the first series produced by the site, and one of the most well received. The show, like many on the site, took fan submissions and integrated them into each episode. The show was picked up for distribution on Abcfamily.com in February 2009. The series premiered on August 18, 2008, on Take180.com and YouTube, and concluded on February 20, 2009 with each episode averaging around 25,000 views on Take180.com.
