My Beautiful Man, is a rare look at a relationship that I think actually happens more in real life than is portrayed in cinema. You have one guy who idolizes the other, he puts him up on a pedestal and doesn't feel that he is worthy of him or their relationship. This is what I think happens in some relationships. The other guy has a hard time expressing his emotions and he sometimes lashes out in anger, but more often than not he is rude to his partner. Somehow, they make it work. If you can relate to that kind of relationship, you will find this a very captivating story that will stay with you even once you finish it. If you can't relate to that, or just don't like that, you will probably find the characters annoying. This covers quite a period in their lives. It starts in their junior year of high school and goes up to shortly after college graduation. There were 2 seasons, the first one was 6 parts, the second season was 4 parts and then there was a movie that wrapped everything up. The movie was called My Beautiful Man Eternal; for this post I just did one review for both the series and the movie. I enjoyed both a great deal and think it was well worth watching, although I do think part of the movie slowed down a bit due to unnecessary subplots that they added, but still an excellent watch!
