Police Story is an anthology series, that aired in late 1988 as part of the 'ABC Monday Mystery Movie' line-up. The crime drama is a revival of the original Police Story series (1973–1979), using previous scripts for all five two-hour episode remakes.

Anthology series presenting stories of suspense, mystery and science-fiction, usually with some sort of twist ending.

This half-hour series picks up the life of a long-familiar young doctor. Mark Jenkins is Dr. Kildare this time around, and Gary Merrill is his mentor, dr. Gillespie.

Bible scholar Bachmann is murdered in front of his daughter Johanna. Together with his assistant Simon, a French religious scholar, the young policewoman sets out to find her father's murderer. In the process, they stumble upon the trail of the mysterious Bible code, which is said to be able to prophesy the future of mankind. Pursued by the powerful Cardinal Rhades, Johanna and Simon become involved in a murder plot against the Pope in the Vatican. But not only his life is in danger - the existence of mankind is at stake. In order to prevent the cardinal's plans, it becomes all the more urgent to actually find the key to the Bible code. In a monastery, they discover the last important clue that leads them to the Israeli desert. There, a merciless race ensues for one of the last great secrets of Christianity...

Twelve girls wake up in a secluded mansion, without knowing how or why they got there. As they realize they are locked in, the situation in the house threatens to escalate. But the mansion also harbours a dark secret. The girls are part of a medical experiment and if they don’t manage to escape they will die, one by one.
